Professor Fryar came to the university in the fall semester of 2006. She teaches in the areas of public administration and public policy. She has research interests in Higher Education Policy,
Representation, Public Management, and Minority Politics and Policy.
Her publications include the chapter “Calming the Storms: Collaborative Public Management, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and Disaster Response,” with co-authors Laurence J. O’Toole, Kenneth J. Meier and Scott Robinson, in the forthcoming book The Collaborative Manager, edited by Rosemary O’Leary, to be published by Georgetown University Press.
Current Research: Professor Fryar's research interests are in Higher Education Policy, Representation, Public Management, and Minority Politics and Policy.
